Team B weekly challenges! (By Jess)

The weekly challenge for the teams is a fantastic idea Neen! Good on ya! So, being a competitive gal, but more importantly, wanting everyone to succeed (including myself) in this weight loss adventure, I am going to suggest Team B does weekly challenges as well! Just so team B knows who they are (as there seems to have been some confusion previously), we are Jess, Matt, Sue, John, Olena and Omi! GOOOOOOOO TEAM! Muahhahahaha

So, here is our weekly challenge,
June 11th - June 18th:

Each day, try to get 30 minutes minimum of activity. I know no one likes to do "real" exercises, but I assure you, they can be bogus anyhow. Why no opt for a nice walk with the dogs, or do yard work, walk the city/country and smell the fresh air, throw the frisbee or ball with someone, swim laps, or perhaps some house cleaning fits the bill? There are countless ways to marry activity into our daily lives. I think it should be fun and joyous! Are you into it Team B?? Each week, we can make a new challenge, and as Janine mentioned to her team, at the very least, we can succeed weekly and feel good about ourselves!

Here are some thoughts for future weekly challenges, and if you think of anymore, post them!
1) No sugar whatsoever 2) Eat a rainbow each day (and that does not imply eating skittles! haha) 3) Make veggies half your plate, meat and carbs no bigger than a deck of cards 4) Each day, try to sweat....increase your heart rate! 5) No packaged foods, period! Because these are all drastic, we would only do one at a time. I know certain challenges will be difficult for some of us...like myself, the no sugar for a week will be difficult, but it will encourage positive and healthy behaviors in us.

Give me some feedback on if you are interested in partaking in these challenges! :)

Hope you are all well!
Today I am going to get my 30 minutes of activity with walking and lunges!

Love, Jess

Ps: Matt and I picked up apples, raspberries and strawberries to snack on! Yummy and fresh!
