Fruit is my friend (By Jess)

Remember me saying I was going to meal plan? Well, when I sat down last night with a notepad in front of me, I had a difficult time committing to a daily plan, so instead, I pencilled in these categories: Breakfast, lunch, supper, desserts, snacks, and fav veggies/fruit. I only put down healthy options in each category. I think I am going to choose from the options for whatever meal or snack. Today I ate for breakfast an omellette with three egg whites and one yolk, one of Neen muffins (and had two cookies made from natural ingredients). I had a banana for my morning snack. Lunch I had a dark green salad with good veggies on top and a handful of walnuts on top. For dessert, I had a bowl of raspberries (above picture). I dont know what I will have the rest of the day, but I am really trying to make healthy choices. Tonight Neen and I are going to look into making smart choices and how to get super healthy.
I went for a walk today, but maybe because I have been off work for a week, I am unmotivated. I have cleaned and done stuff around the apartment, but just not feeling it too much as I normally do. Not too concerned, I think once I get back to work this whole weekend, I will get my mojo back. Janine and I are going to maybe later tonight go to High Park and play some fun badminton together! Share some laughs and get silly, while burning some fat and getting a little Vit D.
Birgie, I am SO happy for you to be spending your 60th with the family and playing in the sun at mom and dads! Matt and I wont be able to make it as we are returning from Algonquin that day. I thought initially we would try to make it, but d/t the distance and that we have to drop off two of my work friends at their homes, it would be too time constricting to manage. Hope you are feeling ok these days! Keep your head high!! :) Sending hugs your way!
