Friday! Yay!!!

Hope everyone is well? Janine are your bowels getting better?Goodness it doesn't sound good. Mom you're really getting the hang of this now.Well done! thanks Jess and Matt for setting up moms' computer better. Angie I do believe we all inherited some of the fat genes, Oma in Erfurt had diabetis and was tiny chubby person , very much like me. Lorna sounds like you're under control. Good for you!
Well we got back from a mini trip north to Gravenhurst and Orillia. Mustered the courage to show samples of our Gravenhurst Postcards and trivets to a shop I'd been in touch with all winter. They were pleasantly surprised when we showed up unannounced.
Managed to get a nice little order for a starter to see how they fare in that town.Had lunch at a restaurant at the new Wharf. Veggie Ommelett didn't feel like a salad, we were on vacation.
Since it was Al's bday gift the trip to Rama that's all the sales we did. We had a beautiful room, spent time at the slots( nickles) pennies are at a premium there. We did quite well in the afternoon, then in the morning not as well, but it was fun to play different games for a change.WE DID PLENTY OF WALKING, however did skip a few meals too crowded so a chocolate bar filled the void. Mine was a Bounty with coconut , it was oh so good!
Frankie Valli was great even though we think he lipsinked some of his songs. He did not look well, someone did say he was ill. Anyways the band rocked as did the 4 handsome young guys (4 seasons). They kept up the momentum. 1962 was the year he began so there was a lot of singing along in the audience. Sang all the oldies Sherry, Dawn, Walk Like a Man, Rag Doll etc. It was soooooooooooooo wonderful!
I really enjoyed it as it was the music when I was 15, man I loved that group , dancing to their music with my girlfriends. Al & Gwen of course had 2 babies and a 3 year old living in a tiny little house on Upper Horning Rd. in Hamilton. He was busily working 2 jobs that year but does remember their songs. He of course was playing big band music at the Royal Connaught and Prudhommes in those days, so rock and roll was not really his taste.

We had fun and came home this afternoon so I could start on the order, so Al can start production. As well as get my stuff ready for painting in the gardens of Niagara with my group. Another first!
I do feel tired and nauseaus sometimes reminds me of morning sickness, be glad when I see the doctor on the 29th, more answers.
Looking forward to next week, will be nice see the kids in the pool!
Have a great weekend!
Love Birgie
