Sorry, that wasn't a Nut Shell! More like a Coconut! (posted by Birgie)

During my pregnancies I had a tendancy of eating way too much. I felt that it would create healthier babies and it would all come out with the baby. Wrong! After each pregnany I had additional weight to lose, like 30+. After Janine, I went to weight watchers for a while became a role model, I did shed some but time and money just wasn't there to continue. Then I joined a water aerobics class with a friend, that was fun and painless, very much like Omi's pool exercises I think. Always like bike riding and walking with the kids.

I remember when Janine was 2 I joined a gym "Catharines Lady Fitness" which had dancerizes to some of my favorite songs. Reward sauna and pool, so while she went to nursery school for a couple of hours in the morning I did that for myself. I lost 20 lbs. very quickly simply by denying myself Tim Hortens' Donuts before and after. Most of my friends would reward themselves with Donuts and Coffee. All their work was for nothing.They could not understand why I was losing and they weren't? Believe me losing weight is not an easy task! It really is hard work! We need to be true to ourselves and say "YES WE ARE WORTH IT!"

Unfortunately I had to go back to work fulltime so the gym was shortlived. However I am proud that I did knock off 20 lbs. at the time. I also had a Richard Simmons Dancersize Lp which I loved, he really made me move! Still have it if anyones interested? ...to be continued
